Right. I meant to connect more dots, but I got sick :(

Anyway, I pinged them to ask them to take a look at the privacy stuff. As  
far as I am concerned, we have the two main issues (it can be part of a  
toolset for device fingerprinting and physical user tracking).

I'd be intrigued to learn whether it is feasible to use vibration to  
counter the ability of motion sensors to detect user movements, as  
discussed in  
http://www.w3.org/mid/issue_comment.created-182326855-1455104409-sysbot+gh@w3.org
