draggett has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/sensors: == Addressing finger printing concerns for sensor APIs == Each API may contribute to fingerprinting a given device when used in combination. Browsers can monitor which APIs are used by a given web application as an indication of suspicious behavior. However, what about third party privacy extensions that users can install? Is there a need for hooks to allow such third party extensions to monitor API usage? This could be out of scope for the generic sensor API, but we should perhaps identify this as a means to address privacy concerns relating to sensor APIs. See https://github.com/w3c/sensors/issues/69
