Hi Frederick, Anssi, Le mardi 07 octobre 2014 à 13:37 +0000, Kostiainen, Anssi a écrit : > We’d like to have call-in access to the Generic Sensor API [1] session > too since many key participants have indicated they’d attend the > session remotely. I'm still trying to figure this out FWIW — it doesn't seem that remote participation had been foreseen, but maybe our request will make it possible; I assume that if it is made possible for one session, it will be for more than one. (if there is no phone set up, we might have to look at using Skype or a WebRTC alternative, but that too would require some pre-arrangements with interested participants). > In addition, it would help remote participants if we could fix a slot > beforehand too > I understand it would, but I don't think we can easily accommodate that request — organizing all the breakouts with the possible conflicts across only 3 sessions will already be very challenging. That being said, I think it would be useful to document the remote participation and the EU-timezone compatibilities in the wiki — this doesn't guarantee we will get what we want, but it at least raises the odds :) Could you do so, Annsi? > Le mardi 07 octobre 2014 à 09:49 -0400, Frederick Hirsch a écrit : > I’d like to request we avoid overlap of the web api for health care > sensors, next steps for web of things, and generic sensor API > sessions. I'm sympathetic to this desire, but with only 3 1-hour slots for breakouts, it would be a miracle that we avoid that overlap. Plus, the pre-breakout agenda bashing might end up merging some of these sessions. Dom
