I am asking the question, "what is "dim"?", and "what is "bright"?". ----- Original Message ----- From: "fremycompany pub" <fremycompany_pub@yahoo.com> To: "BRYAN L SULLIVAN" <bs3131@att.com>, "Doug Turner" <doug.turner@gmail.com> Cc: "Dzung D Tran" <dzung.d.tran@intel.com>, "Tab Atkins Jr." <jackalmage@gmail.com>, "François Remy (pub)" <fremycompany_pub@yahoo.fr>, "Marcos Caceres" <w3c@marcosc.com>, "Doug Turner" <dougt@mozilla.com>, "CSS WG" <www-style@w3.org>, public-device-apis@w3.org Sent: Thursday, September 13, 2012 10:12:06 AM Subject: RE: Next step for DAP Ambient Light Events Would you really want to change the site color’s scheme to high contrast black and white at only 1000 lux? If Microsoft data are to be believed, I would set the threshold between 10 000 and 100 000, depending of the screen brightness and reflectance. What do you think? I want to give some idea to the reader what each named lighting level means. I am thinking: Dim: < 300 lux Normal: 400-1000 lux Bright: >= 1000 lux Comments?
