This is unclear but I hope we end up with something that provides non-tabbed (direct) interaction also. This also has the potential of working. We might need to allow a web page to perform pass-through messaging in the format it wants. If we have a bi-direcitonal channel between a service endpoint and the user agent then I guess we could push whatever we needed over that (e.g. json, protobufs, key/value sets, xml, etc)...or the UA could abstract some of that away if we could find a reasonable model for that. > > Dom > Thanks for the quick reply and good to ensure this stuff gets captured in the TF charter. As Chaals said, let's get going on this. The concept of Web Intents is great and we're not married to any particular proposal at this point. We can see if it works for our UCs when the task force kicks off. - Rich
