It's definitely outside the scope of the specification you were poking.

It's also probably a bad idea to support it. It reduces the ability of User Agents to adapt to their users and environments. I'm told that Fennec is likely to implement something along the lines that I was describing; being forced to show extra text in a button would only hinder this.
