During the Media Capture API discussion at DAP's F2F, I sais that the Web Real-Time Communications Working Group was perhaps not going to take care of the "record streams" functionality. This concern doesn't seem to have made it to the minutes, so I'd like to reiterate it here.

It is possible [1] that the Web Real-Time Communications resolves to drop the "record" function from the current API proposal, at least in a first version of the spec to keep things simple (well, as simple as peer-to-peer real-time communications can be, that is). I keep you updated.
