Dear I18N WG, this is just a personal comment. On Jul 4, 2011, at 21:43 , Internationalization Core Working Group Issue Tracker wrote: > The document doesn't define a specific version supported by the API. Version 2.1 included a CHARSET type parameter that version 3.0 eliminates. Please clarify how character encodings should be handled or whether 'charset' is supported. I'm sorry, I'm confused. The specific version of what? The only mention of charset in the specification is in the non-normative examples that write out vCard content. We can certainly remove or update these, but I'm unclear as to what exactly you're asking for. -- Robin Berjon - http://berjon.com/ - @robinberjon
