Robin, All,

I'd be happy to get back to work on the Messaging API, BUT I will
unfortunately not be able to put much effort into it until mid-August. 

(also, I'll take this opportunity to apologize for keeping a low profile
far longer than planned, due to parental leave and other personal
reasons).
