between 2.6 (and 2.3), even we have stated mitigation in 2.2, there is possible fingerprinting surface on this vibration device feature (for 2.6), and there is no formally written integration with permissions API (for 2.3), I suppose we may need to state something more about such fingerprinting surface which has been pointed around some places... (note, design model of "allowing implementation to show a UI for user confirmation" does not compatible with nature of Permissions API, I believe) For points by Reilly, agree on 2.7, there could be combination between vibration and motion sensor for fingerprinting (ONLY in theory I BELIEVE...), and we may better to consider saying theoretically "yes". otherwise +1 to go. -- GitHub Notification of comment by himorin Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/vibration/issues/36#issuecomment-2189401630 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
