@clshortfuse No, sadly, background geolocation tracking is *still* not available on the Web. What I am saying is that there arre (no* insurmountable obstacles to it being introduced. I am also saying that the TravelManager stategy demonstrated by the https://richardmaher.github.io/Brotkrumen/TravelManager.html PWA proves this.
