@pozdnyakov please file a seperate issue for this, point to relevant technical discussion on the topic that led to that choice (or better yet, have it in the new issue) and also indicate if it's mitigated by other strategies, e.g. limiting polling frequency, and if so, what the plan is for enabling use cases such strategies prevent (e.g. Web VR).
