So as I can see, the main use-case for non calibrated values, is to use the field to detect other things than the geomagnetic field, ie, a magnetic button like on the cardboard. The reason is that the calibration can appear as a sudden change in the readings, and might look very similar to what you are trying to detect. What about Magnetometer for the raw values and another name for calibration values, ie MagneticCompassSensor.
