My understanding from looking at the [BMP180 
(pdf)](http://cdn.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Sensors/Pressure/BMP180.pdf)
 (which btw contains a temp sensor), it that temp is used to calculate
 true pressure (see the algorithm on page 15).
