@kevinmpowell That was not even up for debate. There is broad consensus that hex is a legacy format. People with a web background might be more numerous but the web was/is actually lagging behind native here. Native contexts have had wide gamut colors for a lot longer. The question mainly was if this specification should choose an obsolete format to aid adoption.
