RE: Vocabulary document

No vocabulary has been completed by the DIWG, and now the task is in the hands of the DDWG. I believe that the handover of responsibility that took place during the joint meeting between the two groups means that DDWG is free (and even encouraged) to use any material previously produced by the DIWG.

The work that was published during DDWG charter 1, the information from the DD workshop, and all other relevant material can be used as input to the work on the Vocabulary. The current charter specifically says that we must define a light-weight process to manage (add, update, remove) entries in the vocabulary, so it is unlikely that we will engage in further use-cases and requirements. There is already sufficient published information to enable a good start on this work. Any further analysis may be seen as unnecessary delay. Furthermore, we will conduct this work in public so there will be ample opportunity for contributions.

Thinking out loud is good.

Regards,
---Rotan.

The problem with that document is that it is a first draft and never go
to the state of an official note ...

I'm just wondering if in our vocabulary document we have first to
produce a set of requirements and use cases in order to create the core
vocabulary.

In that case, I think that the CPC may provide some useful input for our
new document. We could even copy & paste and "make obsolete" the CPC
document ... I'm just thinking out loud ...

Best Wishes
