Hello,
W3C has begun planning the following Workshop:
"International Workshop on the Implementation
of a Device Description Repository"
12-13 July 2006
Madrid, Spain
Hosted by Telefónica Investigación y Desarrollo
Participants at the Workshop will have the opportunity to discuss
the design, implementation and intended use of a Device
Description Repository (DDR) being proposed by the MWI Device
Description Working Group [1], part of the Mobile Web Initiative
[2]. The proposed DDR will provide device information to
content/service providers, primarily for the purpose of adapting
content to suit client devices. The First Public Working Draft
of Device Description Repository Requirements 1.0 is available for
your review [3].
We expect to send a Call for Participation for this Workshop with
a lot more detail later this month. If you are interested in
this Workshop, please mark these dates in your schedule.
Thanks,
