User story #28 may be relevant to this. We definitely have the situation where what we receive in a transmitted dataset contains value URIs that identify resources that are available elsewhere. In fact, for some of those values there are requirements that the object URI either resolve to something (anything but http 404), or that the object resolve to something more specific (a specific type, such as .jpg, or to a skos:Concept [any skos:Concept]. kc On 2/18/15 11:55 PM, Richard Cyganiak wrote: > Hi Arthur, > > You said in yesterday's F2F discussions that you think of shapes as being evaluated against an RDF Dataset, not just a single RDF graph. > > Are there recorded user stories or use cases, or any other documentation, that motivate the necessity for this? > > My thinking so far was that validating single graphs is sufficient but I’d be happy to be convinced otherwise. > > Richard > -- Karen Coyle kcoyle@kcoyle.net http://kcoyle.net m: 1-510-435-8234 skype: kcoylenet/+1-510-984-3600
