Re: hosting F2F3 - an unusual possibility

Hi Peter,

It sounds like a great place to hang out but I'm not sure that's really
suitable for our meeting. For people coming from Europe the extra drive
and boat ride after an already long trip has got to be a drag but more
importantly I'm concerned with the connection situation.

As you know we heavily depend on internet and phone connections for our
meetings and we can't gamble on this.

I may be able to arrange to have F2F3 on a private island in Georgian Bay
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Honey+Harbour,+ON+P0C,+Canada/@44.9287596,-79.8536243,383m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x4d2ae7a34a9fdca3:0x73782744a5fe9b47

some time between 21 May and 29 May.

Advantages:
- - It's lovely.
- - It's somewhat remote.
- - It's cheap (probably about $70cdn per person per day, food included).
- - We would be able to choose the food we want.

Disadvantages:
- - It's lovely.
- - It's 2 hours from the Toronto airport by car and then a boat ride.
- - We would have to cook the food we want.
- - The wireless internet is truly wireless, i.e., handled through the
cellular phone system.
- - Participants would have to commit relatively early, so that I can
arrange
for rooms to be available.
