Hi Charlene,

We've had a positive response from our customers (both large and small) -
it is a pretty easy sell: If you implement the data layer, then you know
that 3rd party integrations are going to continue to work even if you tweak
or redesign the presentation of your site.

Having plugins / extensions available for popular eCommerce platforms (e.g.
Magento:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/w3c-digitaldata-data-layer-by-triggered-messaging-2.html
) reduces the time/cost to implement to near zero.

Some customers have implemented the spec manually / for custom eCommerce
sites - this tends to require a little more hand-holding. Some fully-worked
examples would probably help in this respect in the future.
