Arron, [RC6] http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20110323/html4/margin-left-004.htm [RC6] http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20110323/html4/margin-left-029.htm If margin-left is set on the external-parent div, then it can never create an horizontal gap between the external-parent and its inner-child. Just by changing [+/-]0[px|pc|mm|cm|in|pt|] to a positive value, we can see that there is still no horizontal gap. I recently upgraded/updated that test and did not notice this. I will re-adjust those tests... presumably a total of 27 test margin-left tests. I will check carefully for other tests like these.
