1- In my opinion, both testcases should be using thicker borders

2- Both testcases should be using lime color for borders; green on black
is rather dark. Bright on dark colors is best for color
constrast/brightness.

3- The expected results sentence of both testcases should explicit
accurately the position of the green borders with regards to the black
square. I say this because Chrome 10.0.648.151, Opera 11.01, Firefox
3.6.15, Firefox 4.0, IE8, Safari 5.0.4 and Konqueror 4.6.1 surprisingly
all render the dotted green borders differently.

IE8, Firefox 3.6.15 and Firefox 4.0 render the dotted green borders
inside the black painted square area. I think this is the correct,
accurate expected results.

Opera 11.01 renders half of the dotted green borders outside the black
painted square area.

Chrome 10.0.648.151 renders the dotted borders inside the black painted
square area for column-border-001 but then renders half of the dotted
green borders outside the black painted square area for
column-border-002.

Safari 5.0.4 and Konqueror 4.6.1 do differently from the rest and from
each other.

regards, Gérard
