In the following tests: http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-007.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-008.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-013.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-014.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-015.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/html4/font-family-name-ref.htm http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-007.xht http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-008.xht http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-013.xht http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-014.xht http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-015.xht http://test.csswg.org/suites/css2.1/20101001/xhtml1/font-family-name-ref.xht I'm seeing small vertical positioning or sizing differences that cause the tests to fail on Firefox on Linux. In particular, in the test, the top of the characters in the tests appears a pixel higher than in the reference, but the bottoms appear even. It's not clear to me whether this is a bug in the metrics of the fonts, a bug in the tests for making assumptions about font metrics, or a bug in the browser. -David -- L.
