https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=16225 Summary: Margin collapsing: switch the order of the "adjoining" and "collapsing" parts of 8.3.1 Product: CSS Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: CSS Level 2 AssignedTo: bert@w3.org ReportedBy: antonsforums@yahoo.co.uk QAContact: public-css-bugzilla@w3.org Reported by Arron Eicholz 8.3.1 talks about adjoining margins, how they collapse and what the exceptions to collapsing are, before defining which margins are adjoining. This is slightly confusing because it's not clear in what way the exceptions are exceptional until you know which margins would normally be the ones collapsing.
