Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-forms-1] Find a way to avoid double border between ::picker() and button (#13527)

I'm really afraid we're on a very slippery slope towards a very opinionated design system in the UA stylesheet for customizable select. The [design principle](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-forms-1/#basic-appearance-principles) is "The controls are recognizable and usable on their own without additional styles." I'd argue (perhaps strongly) that nothing about the double border makes this unrecognizable, or unusable. E.g. the OP says this "looks slightly unpleasant" which is a design choice, not something that affects usability. I'd lean more heavily on this point of the principles: "They do not have a strong voice & tone of their own, and are visually as simple as possible."
