Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-grid-3] if using `display` we should provide examples for `inline grid-lanes`, and include the `inline-grid-lanes` legacy fallback (#10961)

(And yes, I recognize that "teachability" or similar concerns awkwardly span across the divide, touching both "theory" *and* "user". But in the absence of demonstrated or convincingly argued user *harm*, and in the presence of widespread uptake, I think objections along that axis are much more strongly on the "theory" side.)
