> Actually, it looks like `ui-*` font could be intended for long text/article use? On MacOS ui-monospace is highly probable what the terminal is using, which is kind of a long text situation. I don't think Windows has such a font especially for CJK locales. Cascadia Mono (default in Windows Terminal) in the Japanese locale is linked to Yu Gothic UI, which is never be monospace: <img width="566" height="149" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/97cb713b-84d7-4299-8b7e-fd3ade52883c" /> Windows lacks medium weight (500 in CSS) Japanese fonts (Yu Gothic Medium is not Medium weight but 400-450 in CSS). -- GitHub Notification of comment by tats-u Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/3658#issuecomment-3314433909 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
