5e-Cleric has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-pseudo-4] Enable use of `text-stroke` on `::first-letter` pseudo element == Related Spec: https://drafts.csswg.org/css-pseudo/#first-letter-pseudo I'd like to propose the property `text-stroke`, and therefore the property `paint-order` be applied to the `::first-letter` pseudo element (and potentially `::prefix` and `::suffix` sub-pseudo-elements). I work developing a tool to make documents using Markdown and CSS, and this issue has been raised before, books do use strokes with drop caps. <details><summary>Show example from an actual book</summary> ![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/42660f16-7bdf-47cf-bb84-c91952fc4696) Book: Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, by Wizards of the Coast </details> Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/10892 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
