Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-color-4] Channel clipping breaks author expectations, especially when using 'perceptually uniform' spaces (#9449)

How would gradients/interpolation in these spaces work? If they move the percentage linearly, they're no longer changing the chroma/hue in a perceptually uniform way, I think?

My initial thought is, this scheme seems better for color picking (authors can be more sure that WYSIWYG), but not for color modification (because of the loss of perceptual uniformity). Maybe it makes more sense to have wholly different color spaces that work like this, e.g. `p3-lch(90% 100% 350deg)` or `visible-lch(90% 100% 350deg)`?
