Okaay... I got your point, and I guess then this problem is not even a problem. Let's say you want to go to the middle of the page, just take your mouse to the right edge of your screen and just click in the middle of the screen on the right most edge. Your scrollbar will jump to middle, and you can do the same for the whole length.
