Both `background-repeat` and [`mask-repeat`](https://drafts.fxtf.org/css-masking-1/#propdef-mask-repeat) value definitions include `<repeat-style>`. CSS Backgrounds 4 now allows two keywords. It may be ok as long as CSS Masks 1 links to the single keyword definition in CSS Backgrounds 3, but I think either one of them should use a separate definition, or `mask-repeat-*` should be specced like `background-repeat`. Can you please clarify the CSSWG's position on `mask-repeat`? [w3c/fxtf-drafts#99](https://github.com/w3c/fxtf-drafts/issues/99) confuses me because I do not interpret the related [discussions/resolution](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/116#issuecomment-275179463) (from this issue) as in the comment that closed it. -- GitHub Notification of comment by cdoublev Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/116#issuecomment-2296097586 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
