Re: [csswg-drafts] [css-fonts-4] Definition of `normal` for font-palette not well-defined or interoperable (#9281)

The CSS Working Group just discussed ``[css-fonts-4] Definition of `normal` for font-palette not well-defined or interoperable``, and agreed to the following:

* `RESOLVED: drop the left-over text at the end of that sentence`
* `RESOLVED: make a general sentence out of "UAs should prefer color glyphs where available"`

<chris> https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/9281#issuecomment-1720855800
<fremy> chris: the first one is to remove text (see proposal)
<astearns> Proposed resolution 1: trim no longer applicable text.
<fremy> chris: I would like the drop that left-over text
<fremy> jonathan: I thought this behavior was useful
<fremy> chris: I think yes, but this behavior is no longer part of normal
<fremy> chris: can we drop the text and open a new issue for a new keyword for that behavior?
<drott> I am supportive of the first proposed resolution
<fremy> miriam: any objection?
<fremy> RESOLVED: drop the left-over text at the end of that sentence
<fremy> chris: the second part is "UAs should prefer ..."
<fremy> chris: I propose to move that out of that definition
<drott> s/.../color glyphs where available/
<fremy> chris: can we agree on that?
<fremy> miriam: any objection?
<fremy> RESOLVED: make a general sentence out of "UAs should prefer color glyphs where available"
