Strongly seconded. Beyond that, there's a number of designs that blur the boundary between 'corner shape' and 'shape' (eg see this [Medium](https://medium.com/@nikolskayaolia/an-easy-way-to-implement-smooth-shapes-such-as-superellipse-and-squircle-into-a-user-interface-a5ba4e1139ed) article). All of these use the superformula under the hood, just with different parameters.
