Right, our point is that we explicitly invoke aspect-ratio in the transferred size suggestion, and explicitly *do not* use that suggestion for non-replaced elements, so having the aspect-ratio still sneak in via the content-size suggestion seems like it's an accident. > Even with that said, I think your proposal is good, at least as far as flex is concerned (Ian might have non-flex reasons to define this behavior the way he proposed it). I think it also makes flex's automatic minimum size always equal aspect-ratio's automatic minimum size.
