Here is example, of why I find the current Spec highly confusing: https://codepen.io/philkunz/pen/qBVLvWg?editors=1000 container queries break with other logic of styling in dom trees, that we find for example with css variables. Yet container queries serve a similar need: The adaptation of css to context.
