> It's "a new format on the web" because browsers do not currently parse ICC files; this is a new parser being exposed to the web. How different is an ICC _file_ from the ICC chunk in images? I haven't checked other browsers, but Firefox parses ICC in JPEG, PNG, BMP, WebP, AVIF so I imagine most browsers do. That parser is effectively exposed to the web already. -- GitHub Notification of comment by dveditz Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/5552#issuecomment-940606128 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
