> It is possible that most members of the CSSWG and most browser engineers are wrong, that there's a big flaw in the collective reasoning, and that one way or another, this is actually a good idea. If you think so, start by understanding the arguments against, then build a strong case debunking them, and explain why you're right. Hey all, based on this discussion, I wrote an article about this topic: [Calibrate CSS](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/) * It [implements a calibration widget](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#a-robust-and-minimal-calibration-scheme) as [described](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/614#issuecomment-611217635) by @tabatkins. * Under [Debate](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#debate) I take up the argument. * It has an incomplete list of possible [Use Cases](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#use-cases). * And it proposes a progressive [Browser Support Roadmap](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#browser-support-roadmap) in four milestones; suggesting the CSS property `env(unit-scale-physical)`—similar to #5986—in [Level 1](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#level-1). I hope this is a constructive contribution to the debate and I'm looking forward to evolve this. We need a community to further establish [Level 0](https://graphicore.github.io/varla-varfo/explorations/calibrate/#level-0). -- GitHub Notification of comment by graphicore Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/614#issuecomment-799491268 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
