First, apologies for going quiet on this issue; didn't want to speak for folks still working on the forced colors implementation while I was on other projects. :)

Am I correct in understanding that the current resolution is "won't fix"? That's probably ok, this was more about developer ergonomics (folks complaining / not understanding why they'd need to set `forced-colors-adjust: none` just for one simple override) than authors being explicitly blocked.
