Lots of things are impossible, and I have had plenty of dreams I don't want to come true under any circumstances.

Personally, I quite like something like `letter-spacing: 1em gap` for the "new version" and `letter-spacing: 1em` for the old version, but as far as I'm aware the discussion on details hasn't started yet. But I'm confident it will happen, so keep an eye on this issue as it will be cross referenced when it does.
