Chromium's original proposal is to add a CSS property to not to break existing pages. @fantasai and a few others are against adding a property, instead want to change existing behavior by break existing pages at the level not allowed for us to implement. We're stuck there for 3 years unfortunately. Your opinion is very much appreciated to make progress on this issue. p.s.
