I think this is a great idea – and would help me both with clients and students. I also think @chriscoyier is on the right track for a next step here, diving into the first release: 1. Establish some criteria that work well for a first release (CSS4, or CSS 2020, or …?), and flesh out the list of features included. 2. Determine the format of a public "release" of this kind, and flesh out the first version. Unlike CSS3, it's not a spec – so what is it? A list of module-versions? A sort of snapshot based on support rather than on date? A summary or microsite of some kind? As in the discussion @AmeliaBR linked, what is the proper balance for a useful entry-point without requiring heavy ongoing maintenance? 3.
