litherum has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-fonts-5] Removing font-language-override == [font-language-override](https://drafts.csswg.org/css-fonts-4/#propdef-font-language-override) is only implemented by one engine, and has been at risk for a long time. Philosophically, there shouldn't be two places authors can specify language to get correct text shaping. We should remove font-language-override from the spec.
