Though I'm now more open to Blink changing everything over to wrapper box. One of the advantages of clientWidth and offsetWidth returning different values is that an author can ascertain the presence of a scrollbar, but neither table grid boxes nor table wrapper boxes ever have scrollbars, so that advantage doesn't apply to tables.

I'm not sure of more use cases for clientWidth vs offsetWidth so can't reason if authors would be better served by having them apply to wrapper or grid box.
