I agree that the issue is mostly about matching the reality where too many people (both devs and users) treat the pointer cursor as an (additional) indicator of "clickability", and where sometimes there is no clear distinction [between different kinds of controls that one can activate](https://codepen.io/AmeliaBR/full/RjaqrN/). So I like the @AmeliaBR's suggested wording [from the comment above](#issuecomment-341987070). However, I believe that the spec should warn against making the cursor change the *only* visual indicator of interactivity.
