As for default styles, having a way to disable or lower specificity would really be great 👍 That covers 1. and 2. IMHO. However do you agree that `:matches` should not be overwritten to allow authors to work with specificity rather than having to depend on 3rd party tool-stacks (like PostCSS et al.)? Wouldn't a new `:filter()` fit your bill?
