LeaVerou has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts: == [css-images-4] Gradients with a single color stop == Gradients with a single color stop were [supposed to be allowed in CSS Images 3](https://www.w3.org/Mail/flatten/index?subject=https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2013Apr/0119.html&list=www-style), but due to a bunch of issues and a grammar that was mismatched to the prose, they didn't make it to implementations. Since there are no implementations, @fantasai and I decided to remove any references to single color gradients in Images 3. This issue is about getting WG consensus to add this in Images 4. Use cases: Better feedback while writing CSS with a preview, single color images, "placeholder" gradients that are going to be edited later. But mostly, consistency and predictability. Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues/1576 using your GitHub account
