For that matter, we could possibly roll the "increase 
foreground/background contrast" and "reduce transparency" into one 
media feature if the granularity of each isn't essential. 

FWIW, we tried something like this in the Indie UI User Context draft.
 See the following example demonstrating how Microsoft's high-contrast
 media feature proposal fit into an MF we called "user contrast"
