We don't really put colons inside a CSS value syntax, and I think the 
leading keyword is sufficiently clear. I agree with Brad that using a 
slash for alpha makes more sense given how common it is.

Wrt replacing all the color functions with color().... that's a lot of
 unnecessary typing. :) So long as a color doesn't need fallbacks, 
using its own function is more ergonomic and should therefore be 
allowed.
