Yes, I've just [changed the syntaxes in CSS Backgrounds lately](https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/commit/3240e0690cb9b311870dcb3fd4882a98ee5519b3) to use `#`. IMO `value#` looks much nicer than `value [ , value ]*`.
