The group database has been fixed, so it's back to showing me as chair,
after showing no chair from 13 Apr
<https://web.archive.org/web/20210413003527/https://www.w3.org/community/credibility/>
to 16 Jul
<https://web.archive.org/web/20210716090217/https://www.w3.org/community/credibility/>
when Madilyn stepped up.
Let's use this as a chance to hold chair elections using the process
suggested in the CG Template Charter
<https://w3c.github.io/cg-charter/CGCharter.html#chairs>. 14 days for
participants to announce their candidacy, then 21 days to vote. While
this is happening, I hope we can shed more light on how this group might
proceed.
I've set up a wiki page
<https://www.w3.org/community/credibility/wiki/Summer_2021_elections>
where candidates can list themselves, so we don't miss anyone in a
possible flood of email. Please also send an email to this list starting
a new thread where you can take questions about your candidacy.
I'm not sure if I'll run for re-election, but if I do it'll likely be on
the platform of not holding meetings or having much activity unless I
personally see a path to the group delivering value. If you have a
different standard in mind, and are willing to do the work, please do
step forward.
